Mapa Branding, UX & Web Design
Mapa is a leading multinational headquartered in Turkey with four decades of success in five sectors. Mapa operates across Europe, Asia, Africa and America in construction, hospitality, renewable energy, airports and air freight.
The company wanted a the new brand and website to feel contemporary to appeal to American and British investors ahead of the company going public.
Initial Brand Marks
The process began with research around the existing brand before moving on to sketching and development of a new logo mark.
Initial concepts were presented and the client selected a route straight away.
Brand Mark Development
The client liked the selected route but wanted to drop the other letters from the word and have a more legible font added to the brand.
The decision was made to flip the now solitary ‘M’ for the logo so that the logo type aligned with the straight edge.
Final Logo
The final logo gave Mapa the contemporary update they were looking for.
The geometric shape of the logo mark was used successfully throughout the brand collateral to give the brand consistency over many mediums.
Brand Guidelines
Mapa is a large brand with many moving parts and departments. Therefore the company needed a large and extensive brand guidelines which could be used and understood by all employees.
The resulting 60 page design covered all aspects of the company from colours and logo design to banners and safety equipment.
Website
The need for the rebrand was to appeal to Western investors. Therefore the design of the site was crucial to the company’s success.
Using the new brand, a clean, modern, responsive site design was rolled out over a short period of time so Mapa could launch their new brand.
