Highgate Branding
Highgate is a strategic counsel advisory firm, working directly for CEOs, political leaders, and prominent individuals throughout the world.
The name came from the founder who originally from France has adopted London as his home and more specifically the borough of Highgate.
Initial Sketches
A initial presentation of mood boards and proposed logo routes discovered the client identified with a strong 'H' as the main logo mark.
Therefore I began exploring how this letterform could be interpreted.
Initial Brand Marks
Initial concepts drawn up from sketches around the 'H' idea.
Brand Mark Development
After meeting with the client they identified two main routes they liked so I began to explore these and how they worked within the full logo lockup.
Brand Mark Development
After meeting with client again they decided they wanted something similar to one of the previously proposed routes but for it to be a more subtle.
Therefore I explored what subtle device could be added or taken away from the ‘H’ to give it a unique identity the client related with.
Modified Typeface
As well as the ‘H’ logo mark I also developed modified a typeface to sit alongside the mark.
The client felt the typeface was too sharp in places
Final Logo
The final logo captured everything the client wanted. A sense of prestige and exclusivity in a dignified and subtly unique way.
Stationery
The stationery design was centred around a frame device to give the design a sense of dignity.
This brand assets was applied to all print collateral.
Brand Output
The strong brand meant it could be easily applied to a large variety of outputs and executions.
